At sunset, a turquoise sky descends into a band of amber gold above the
Adirondack Mountains near Westport, New York, as seen from
across Lake Champlain near Basin Harbor, Vermont.
(The original painting lithographed on this card is unique in that it is the
first OIL painting I've created in about 30 years. "Evening Gold" may
likely be the beginning of a trend to paint more oils in the future.)
